The latest annual Visitor Attraction Statistics, published by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) on 20th July 2023, give an overview of the performance of the Visitor Attraction market in Northern Ireland during 2022.
During 2022 an estimated 11.0 million visits were made to 124 responding attractions, with a reported 36% of visits made by visitors who lived outside Northern Ireland.
Country parks/parks/forests attracted the largest proportion of all visitors (33%). The category classified as Other attracted the second highest proportion of visitors during 2022 (18%).
The top three responding attractions (excluding country parks/parks/forests/gardens) during 2022 were Titanic Belfast, The Derry Walls and Giant’s Causeway.
