Sponsorship for tourism events
This suite of video courses is specifically aimed at the events industry, helping you to identify and secure sponsorship in these times when sponsorship can be particularly difficult to secure.
We explore and advise on how to identify potential sponsors, create and negotiate sponsorship proposals, and follow through with activation, evaluation and ideally sponsorship renewal.
The topics are broken down into separate videos so you can dip in and out as time allows. Each video is between 8 and 10 minutes long.
Module 1: How to create a sponsorship proposal
During this module we explain how to create a sponsorship pack, containing essential information when trying to secure a sponsor. We outline the key elements needed for the pack to help showcase your event in its best light, and demonstrate the benefits to potential sponsors.
Module 2: How to Match Sponsors to your Event Needs
This module looks at the levels of sponsorship possible, and how to match these to your event. We outline the different forms of sponsorship including financial and in kind, the various levels of sponsorship you can offer, and how to align this offer to suit the sponsor and your event.
Module 3: Identifying sponsors
During this module we look at how to identify sponsors to best match your event. This will include defining the level of sponsorship required, as well as researching sponsors and how to reach out to them.
Module 4: Stages of securing sponsorship
We look at the process and stages of securing sponsorship, right through from the initial pitch to the renewal of the sponsorship and everything in between!
