David Roberts - Director of Strategic Development

David Roberts, Director of Strategic Development at Tourism NI, is responsible for a broad portfolio of activity including Investment and Industry Programmes, Regions and Experience Development. His key priorities are the implementation of the suite of interventions set out in the Economic Recovery Action Plan, alongside progressing the delivery of the City and Growth Deals across NI.

David joined Tourism NI in July 2021 from Invest NI. He was Invest NI’s Head of Economics between 2014 and 2019 and also led much of the organisation’s work on Brexit. Prior to joining Invest NI, he had a successful career in economic development consultancy, leading assignments for clients across the UK and Ireland.
