Procurement
In Northern Ireland responsibility for public procurement, policy lies with the Procurement Board, chaired by the Finance Minister. All policies agreed by the board must comply with EU legislation.
Central Procurement Directorate (CPD) is the lead professional public procurement body for Northern Ireland.

Internal financial regulations
The Committee on Standards in Public Life (Nolan Committee) has set out seven principles of public life which it believes should apply to all in public service. Tourism NI has adopted these principles as the basis for working practices across the organisation. It is intended that these principles be cascaded to staff asking them to recognise the importance of the principles and to uphold them at all times.

Allowances and expenses
Board members’ allowances and expenses
In carrying out their role, Tourism NI Board Members are permitted to claim for travel and subsistence expenses incurred whilst on Board business. Board Members' allowances and expenses 2016-17.
Senior staff allowances and expenses
Details of the allowances and expenses that can be claimed or incurred. It includes the total of the allowances and expenses, by reference to categories, paid to or incurred by individual members of senior staff produced in line with Tourism NI’s policies, practices and procedures. Categories are under such headings as travel, subsistence and accommodation.
NB: Senior staff are defined as those earning at least £63,994 per annum (equivalent to Grade 5 NICS).
